I just wanted to thank you again for your wonderful, moving tribute to the Duke and American patriotism.I was fortunate to attend your show on Wednesday, August the 22nd and it was the highlight of my trip.I was the one who told you about being a JW fan since I was a teenager in the 70's. It was not really popular to be a fan of the the Duke at my age, but I had already established my love for these United States of America by that time and loved what John Wayne stood for with his attitude and performances.My beloved father, who passed last November was a proud WWII veteran and I am sure my patriotism was instilled in me at an early age thanks to him. I am also sure that is another reason why I loved and respected John Wayne so much.You picked me for the "Sons of Katie Elder" part and I must say I was thrilled to be a part of your show. After you told me the history of the jacket I wore, I wanted to grab it and run for the door! Your performance is very moving and it is obvious that you believe in what you are doing and portraying. You ARE the embodiment of what John Wayne was and stood for.I thought I was the ultimate John Wayne fan, but I must say after meeting you and watching your great show, that you are the only one worthy of claiming that title.I always had a regret that I did not get to meet the biggest star in the world, but I must say I have come as close as I could to the real man by having the great fortune of meeting you. Yes, I truly mean that!I would love to share some of my items (video) you may not have if you care to give me a mailing address. Thank you so much again for giving me a memory which I will cherish for my lifetime!
