L/Cpl J. Siegel Dear Mr. Wain, This past weekend I had the privilege of seeing you perform for the second time. I brought three of my fellow Marines along with me with the hopes you could motivate them, the way you motivated me, the first time I saw you perform. Sir, let me say this, "you didn't let me down". \ul All\ulnone of my buddies were extremely impressed as you made us all proud to be Americans. When I saw you for the first time last summer I was about halfway through recruit training. At the time I was stagnant and just going through the motions of trying to become a Marine. Well sir, you changed all that in one hour. Your presentation made me realize how much I had to be thankful for, living in a country as great as America. I realized how much the Marine Crops means to America in keeping her proud and free forever. I swore to my self from that day on, that I would strive to be the best Marine I could possibly be. Sir you make be feel proud in service my Corps and Country. If I only had heard you speak before boot camp I believe it would have made it a lot easier. I think it would be great for recruit morale if you were able to perform at Parris Island more often. If there's anything I could do to help you it would be my privilege. Like former President John F. Kennedy once said, "Ask not what you country can do your you, ask what you can do for your country". Semper Fi J Siegel |
