Subject: Tribute to John Wain Date: 5/1/05 To friends coming to see The John Wayne Story You are about to be touched in your heart and be brought to your knees with a pride of being an American. I know we all come from different parts of the world, but this show will bring us altogether if we will open our hearts. You are about to see and hear a tribute to a great man as well as receive insight to a great American. I watched his show on April 28, 2005, and as I sat there with tears in my eyes I felt I could almost touch John Wayne. The man made me stand tall and not be ashamed to call another man brother. He showed me that we can live in harmony and peace. I believe Mr. Wain is true performer in every sense of the word. I'll look forward to seeing both gentleman in heaven and be able to look them in the eyes and call them brother. I'll always remember the soft touch laid on me in Branson.
